Peer & Manager Recognition

Thank anyone, in a few taps, right where the work happens

No new tab to remember. People recognize each other from Slack, Microsoft Teams or the Grati5 web app, tag a value and choose who gets to see it.

Inside your chat tools

A slash command, a value and a sentence

Type /thanks, pick a colleague and a value, write what they did. The recognition posts to your chosen channel as a card that others can react to and add to.

  • Works where people already talkNative apps for Slack and Microsoft Teams, plus a web app for everyone else.
  • Cards, not chat noiseRecognition posts as a clean card with the value and points, easy to spot in a busy channel.
  • Reply with your own thanksColleagues can add a line to an existing thank-you instead of starting a new thread.
Visibility

The sender decides who sees it

Some thank-yous belong on the company feed. Others are better said quietly. Every recognition has a visibility setting, and private means private.

  • Three simple levelsCompany feed, team channel, or private to the recipient and their manager.
  • Admin defaults, not overridesAdmins set the default for new posts. They cannot make a private thank-you public.
  • Recipients can hide their ownAnyone can remove a recognition about them from public feeds.
For managers

A gentle weekly prompt, not another dashboard

Managers get a short private note when their team has gone quiet, with a reason to say thank you and a one-tap way to do it.

  • Based on team patternsNudges look at team-level recognition, never at whether an individual seems engaged.
  • Your own giving, private to youManagers see how often they have recognized others. No one else sees it.
Also included

Small details that make recognition feel human

Group thank-yous

Recognize a whole shift or project squad at once. Points split evenly, and each person gets their own copy.

Add your voice

Colleagues can add a short note to someone else's thank-you, so one moment gathers the whole team's appreciation.

Milestones, not just moments

Work anniversaries and project completions prompt the right people to say something personal, not a template.

For people without a desk

A mobile web link works for store, plant and field teams who never open Slack or Microsoft Teams.

Cross-team by default

Suggestions encourage thanking people outside your own team, where recognition is usually thinnest.

Manager spotlights

Managers can add bonus points from their own budget when a contribution deserves more than words.

FAQ

Questions teams ask

Something else on your mind? Contact us.

Do people need to install anything?
No. An admin installs the Slack or Microsoft Teams app once for the workspace. Everyone else signs in with your company SSO or uses the web link.
Can managers recognize differently from peers?
Yes. Managers have a separate bonus points budget on top of the standard giving allowance, so they can back a thank-you with a meaningful reward.
What stops people from trading points back and forth?
Admins can cap points per thank-you, limit repeat recognition between the same two people in a period, and review unusual patterns at the team level.
Can we moderate posts?
Admins can remove a post that breaks company policy. Removals are logged, and the sender is notified with the reason.
